Faiza Syed

Faiza Syed is a research associate at DASH to Protect Antibiotics, a multi-centric study on antimicrobial resistance spanning South Asia and the EMEA region. Her day-to-day work sits at the intersection of clinical research coordination, cross-border communications, and public health — and it directly shapes the way she has built WEmpower's education programs.

At WEmpower Pakistan, Faiza designs the educational architecture behind everything we teach: the webinars, the certified courses, and the weekly newsletter that now reaches hundreds of women in STEM. She coordinates the webinar programme end-to-end, and runs the multi-level global communications that keep our community, partners, and mentors moving in sync.

Research background

Faiza's professional research work is on antimicrobial resistance as part of the DASH consortium — a study spanning multiple centres across South Asia and EMEA. That experience of coordinating complex, multi-country academic collaboration is a large part of why WEmpower's programs feel coherent across borders.
