Isra Arif

Isra Arif is recognized as the first Pakistani woman horologist, a rare and highly specialized path in a field with very few practitioners worldwide. She works independently as a watch specialist, focusing on mechanical watch repair and restoration, where precision engineering and craftsmanship meet.

Her work requires the kind of patience and technical mastery that comes from years of hands-on training in horology. As one of the only women practicing this craft in Pakistan, Isra represents a path into STEM and skilled craftsmanship that few young women are exposed to, making her an important and unconventional voice for the mentees she works with.
