About the event

The goal of Meri Taleem Mera Mustaqbil (My Education, My Future) was straightforward: bring students face-to-face with the people who actually shape careers, and give them practical, actionable guidance on how to move from education into the workforce.

A panel of experts from academia, industry, and civil administration joined WEmpower Pakistan and Rawalpindi V-Force at the Rawalpindi Arts Council to talk through the parts of a career journey that university curricula rarely cover — how to write a CV that gets past the first screen, how to structure a cover letter, how to present yourself in an interview, and how to think about long-term career direction rather than just the next job.

The session was built as an open conversation. Students asked questions directly to the panellists, and the panel responded in the same practical, no-jargon way they would have wanted someone to speak to them at that stage of their own careers.

Where this initiative is going next

Meri Taleem Mera Mustaqbil was designed to be the first in a wider series. The campaign will continue to expand into Pakistan’s major cities — including Lahore, Karachi, Jhelum, and Multan — so that students outside the twin cities also get access to the same panel of guidance and mentorship.
